We're thrilled to have well-known British television presenter Howard Stableford as your host for the Home:World series. Howard is best known for twelve years as host and reporter for the BBC’s flagship science and technology program "Tomorrow's World."
Highlights in his career have included winning the Grand Prix at the Quebec International Science Film Festival for a documentary about the Chernobyl nuclear reactor and working with HRH The Prince of Wales on his annual awards for innovation. He has also presented other highly rated network TV and radio programmes such as "Predators" and "Changing Places" for BBC Radio 4, "Open Saturday" for the Open University, "UK’s Worst…", "Beyond the Abyss," "The Leisure Hour" and "Animal Zone" for BBC Television, "Motor Week" for Granada GSB and has travelled the world filming a series on extreme weather for Channel 4.
He is also past President of the Institute of Patentees and Inventors in the UK.
Howard is in constant demand by major companies to host and steer major conferences, related to which he also runs a media training company to enhance the public speaking capabilities of senior executives.
Howard is a graduate of Durham University, where he gained an honours degree in Geography.
Howard lives in Colorado and has two daughters and a Harley Davidson.
